Today the Interact Installation of the new team of office bearers 2010-2011 of KRMM school was completed. We had Rtn Gnanavelan District Chairman Interact as the Chief Guest for the function. The function commenced with an invocation and school prayer song at 9.00 am and concluded with National Anthem at 9.50 am.

President Rtn Rajie gave an inspiring speech to the students with some examples and a short story about 3 filters by Socrates (infact useful to all not only the school children). Secy Rtn Shreelekha, Treasurer Rtn Srikumar, Rtn Prithivi Director Community Services and me had attended the event. Thanks Prithivi for helping us in the pics. The Interactors were all from Class XI.

The outgoing President Balaji presented the annual report which was exhaustive and covered all their projects. The students had a lot of appreciation for the RYLA camp we conducted for them last year and also mentioned that they valued it a lot as their annual outstation school trip was not held last year and only the RYLA was an outing for them.

Pres Rtn Rajie has also assured the students that this year too we will be conducting a RYLA for them which was well appreciated by all present. The jewel was passed on to the new incoming President Vyshnavi Durai and she gave the acceptance speech announcing her plans for the forthcoming year. Rubaya Rafi took over as Secretary along with the other 6 Directors who were pinned.

The interact co-ordinator of KRMM school Ms Nivya was present at the function. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering by speaking on goals and how to accomplish them. The students answered to a few questions which was asked by Rtn Gnanavelan. The students presented tree saplings to the Chief Guest and all of us.

Rtn Shreelekha had suggested that we have to attend their meetings once in a quarter or so and also conduct some joint programmes along with them. The co-ordinator was receptive to this suggestion and said she will take it forward.
